Sony Xperia Z3 Compact vs OnePlus One Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods

It has been a week of camera comparisons. Since the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 came out last week, the Sony Xperia Z3v came out this week, and the Sony Xperia Z3 come out next week, I have been spending a lot of time working with the Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

I thought that comparing the Sony Xperia Z3 to the OnePlus One would be enough; however, when I compared the camera of the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, there were some differences, and if we are nothing else here, we are thorough with camera comparisons. So here is goes. The camera comparison of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and the OnePlus One.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs OnePlus One Camera Comparison: Battle of the Phablets

By Rich W Woods

Last week, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was released in the United States. It will undoubtedly be the most expensive as well as the most powerful phone on the U.S. market.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be the best phone on the market. The best phone on the market is always up for a debate. That’s why I have declared it to be the iPhone 6 Plus. Apple has innovated the smart phone once again with a larger phone and a mobile payment system.

Sony Xperia Z3 vs OnePlus One Camera Comparison: The Long Awaited Review

By Rich W Woods

If you are a member of the OnePlus community, you know that it is one of the most frequently asked questions in the OnePlus forums. Which one is better? The Sony Xperia Z3 or the OnePlus One. As we do a lot of camera comparisons here, this is the most popularly demanded camera comparison to date, so here it is.

Both the OnePlus One and the Sony Xperia Z3 have amazing cameras. While the Sony Xperia Z3 is 20.7 MP, the OnePlus One is 13 MP and it supports RAW photos. On the other hand, the Sony Xperia Z3 has a physical camera button, one feature that I personally love on phones. The OnePlus One has a 5 MP front camera while the Sony Xperia Z3 has a 2.2 MP front camera. Clearly, both cameras are better in different ways.

OnePlus One vs Nokia Lumia 635 Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods

Last Sunday, the Nokia Lumia 530 was released in the United States. While it is supposed to be the successor to the Nokia Lumia 520, the specs are inferior to the Nokia Lumia 520. In fact, the camera can’t even focus. I ended up finding that the Nokia Lumia 635 would be a much better idea for comparisons, even though it has been available since June.

I have been spending a lot of time with the Nokia Lumia 635 lately along with the Nokia Lumia 530, Moto G, Moto XiPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. I compared the camera to the Moto G, Nokia Lumia 530, iPhone 6, Moto X, and Nokia Lumia 1020; however, the one community that would crucify me if I don’t include them is the OnePlus community, so here it is.

OnePlus One vs Moto G Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods

I have been spending a lot of time with the Moto G over the last couple weeks. I compared the camera to the Nokia Lumia 635iPhone 6, and the Moto X and also wrote a full review.

In writing all of these comparisons and reviews, one thing was for sure. If I don’t compare the camera of the Moto G to the OnePlus One, I would get crucified for snubbing the holy grail. After all, there is no one more passionate about their phones as OnePlus One owners.

OnePlus One vs Nokia Lumia 1020: Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods

As a very proud OnePlus One owner, I spend a good amount of time in the OnePlus forums. We are an eccentric group. In fact, if there is one group that is the most enthusiastic about the phone they own, it’s OnePlus One owners, probably because we had to work so hard to get it.

Then again, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is a cult classic. If there could be a group that is more emphatic about their phones as the OnePlus One, it is Nokia Lumia 1020 owners.

As you can probably imagine, I have been spending a lot of time over the past few weeks reviewing the Moto X, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. I compared the Moto X to the OnePlus One, iPhone 6, Nokia Lumia 1020, and HTC One M8. I compared the iPhone 6 Plus to the iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, Moto X, OnePlus One, Nokia Lumia 1020, and HTC One M8.

OnePlus One vs HTC One M8: Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods

Over the last two weeks, I have been spending a lot of time with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and the Moto X to review them. In that effort, I compared the camera of the Moto X to the Nokia Lumia 1020, HTC One M8, OnePlus One, and iPhone 6. I compared the iPhone 6 to the Nokia Lumia 1020, HTC One M8, iPhone 5S, OnePlus One, and the Moto X.

Throughout these comparisons, I have received numerous requests for comparisons between the HTC One M8, Nokia Lumia 1020, and OnePlus One. The scope of this review will be to compare the OnePlus One and the HTC One M8.

Moto X vs OnePlus One: Camera Review: What’s the Best Android Phone?

By Rich W Woods

Both the Moto X and the OnePlus One are amazing in different ways. The OnePlus One and the Moto X both use 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processors and a 13 MP rear camera. They are also both fantastic phones for the prices they are sold for, but that’s about all they have in common.

The OnePlus One beats the Moto X in specs. It uses 3 GB RAM and has a 5 MP front facing camera where the Moto X uses 2 GB RAM and a 2 MP front camera. The OnePlus One sells their 16 GB model for $300 and Motorola sells the 16 GB Moto X for $500.

The Moto X is poised to be the best Android phone this year, so it stands to reason that we should compare it with it’s competitors. So far, we’ve done the Nokia Lumia 1020. This will focus on the OnePlus One.

Nokia Lumia 930 vs OnePlus One: Rear Camera Comparison

By Rich W Woods
IMAG0283There is not much that the Nokia Lumia 930 and the OnePlus One have in common. One runs Windows Phone and one runs Android. One uses Snapdragon 800 and the other uses Snapdragon 801. One has a 5″ screen and the other has a 5.5″ screen. One has a 20 MP camera and the other a 13 MP camera. One has a 1.2 MP front camera and the other a 5 MP front camera. One records 1080p video and the other 4K. One is made by one of the oldest, well known cell phone companies and the other is made by a startup that didn’t exist a year ago.

There are a few things that they have in common. They are both unlocked and aren’t sold by any United States cell carriers. They both have a 1080p display. Most importantly, they both have cameras that I fell in love with the moment I used them.
